Y'all - it turns out show wear has evolved since the early 80's... when I was a kid, we were in lined wool blazers... even in 97 degree heat - you put it on and you suffered. And then drank a lot of GATORADE. and then took it off the second you got off course. But I ordered this for my kid and was shocked at first - SO thin! more like a weird shirt than like the coats we wore as kids. But when you put it on and get on a horse, it looks just fine. And isn't designed to Contain heat like back in the day - - no - this RELEASES heat. I know! Crazy! the lack of defined shoulders makes my old 80's kid heart sad... but when I look around, it's the style that they are wearing now so on behalf of modern riders, I'm glad the tech has gone this far.
