I usually avoid the puffer style because I think they can look a little bulky. The models wearing them in the picture looked a little more streamlined so I took a chance. The color is exactly as represented and the fit was great for me. I'm about 5'9 and VERY hippy/pear shaped. I'm usually a 14/16 depending on the maker. The band is a little snug on me when zipped, BUT that is pretty typical and I'd consider this a tailored, but slightly looser fit. The sleeve length was good for me with my pretty average length arms. My upper arms are thick and sometimes sleeves are too tight for me, they fit just fine but still look sleek. Not puffy or extra material. The stitching was very good and the zipper glided easily. I liked that the hood could come off also. This jacket definitely feels more expensive that it is. I was actually surprised, I would have thought this was from a department store and probably a third to double in price. I'm very happy with it.
