I needed a budget coat quickly for a schooling show and didn't want to spend a fortune nor look frumpy/cheap. I was worried about taking a risk on this jacket, but it was well worth it! Not lightweight as others have mentioned, but that's good in a way because it's better quality and not paper thin. A nice zipper under the buttons helps it lay flat, it has a little stretch for forgiveness, and it washed beautifully in cold water on gentle and hung to dry - looks like new! Mine arrived with some threads starting to unravel at the shoulder seams that I had to repair, and the buttons are a little precarious, but otherwise it was fine and looked great. I'm 5'8" and 160# and went with a 10. It is a super length in the sleeves and fit well at the chest, but the shoulders are a bit big. An 8 may have looked more fitted/neater, but I like a little room to move and this wasn't for A-Circuit equitation. It's a great coat for the price! Happy Riding!
